Customers are free to browse this website without registering and submitting personal information.

When making a purchase we have to collect personal information from each customer in order to process the order. All personal information is submitted by you on a voluntary basis, however, unless the required fields are completed we will not be able to process your order.

General information that we gather, such as names, addresses and telephone numbers are retained to enable us to process your order and dispatch your goods and also contact you if we need to with regard to customer services issues. Sound Exposure does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fullfilment, such as to our merchant bank payment gateway. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party. The IP address and location of the computer that is being used to place the order may be captured for security purposes.

Sound Exposure may from time to time forward by post information and promotional literature on special offers made available to its customers. Any customer may unsubscribe to the mailing list at any time by contacting Customer Services by email, telephone or post, or by using the online form.

Sound Exposure does not send spam emails. Customers email addresses are used solely for the purposes of sales administration and order processing.

Sound Exposure will disclose, if requested, your personal information to the police or any other regulatory government authority investigating suspected illegal activities of an individual or group of individuals.

If you are purchasing a television or television receiving equipment from us, please note that the Wireless Telegraphy Act 1967 requires us to notify the TV Licensing Authority, giving full details of the address to which the TV will be delivered. This is in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable laws.
