The Product

The Tascam CD-A750 is an updated version of the successful CD-A700 combination CD player/cassette recorder which was one of the best selling combo machines of this type. This new model uses TEAC's new CD-5020A drive mechanism, designed for audio playback with a smooth loading drawer and low clamping noise. New features include MP3 and WAV file playback, CD text display, auto cue and auto ready. Also new to this model is the digital output and pitch control for both the CD and cassette mechanisms.

Analogue audio inputs and outputs for the cassette machine section are presented balanced on XLR connectors as well as unbalanced on phono connectors, as are the outputs for the CD player section. A digital SPDIF coaxial output for the CD player is also provided. Tascam have also added remote control via a parallel interface as well as standard RS232. Mains power is supplied to the unit via an integral power cable. Contractor-specific features such as power-on play, a wired remote control, rackmountable design and CD shock memory ensure reliable performance time after time.
