The Product

The CD-01U is an extremely compact and versatile slot loading CD player housed in a 1U rackmount chassis. The front panel is laid out in a user friendly way incorporating a clearly legible display and durable CD transport buttons. It will read standard CDs including CD-R and CD-RW, as well as MP3-CDs with a diameter of 8 cm and 12 cm.

As well as offering various playback modes the player also offers functions for professional use, such as auto cue for searching for beginning of track, auto ready for automatic pause at the end of a track, call function for jumping to the position at which playback was last started, pitch control with a range of ±12% including the opportunity to alter the tempo while retaining the key and intro-check or fade-in/fade-out. For installers and broadcast users there is a relay play function, fader-start, EOM signal and a serial port. Furthermore the device can resume playback after being switched on again and can remember a variety of operating conditions after being powered down.

This standard version has a headphone output with dedicated level control, unbalanced analogue outputs on RCA connectors, a serial RS232 control port and an optical digital SPDIF output. Mains power is supplied via a removable IEC connector.
