The Product

The Shure RPM89M is a medium shotgun microphone capsule for use with the Shure RPM89/PRE preamplifier. It delivers a high output and posesses a wider target aperture than the VP89L long capsule, making it ideal for middle distance audio capture such as required for talk shows, television audience responses, electronic news gathering and general media production. It is manufactured from an aluminium alloy finished in a charcoal-grey metallic paint which prefectly matches the finish on the preamplifier. A frequency response of 100Hz to 20kHz and its unmatched quality of off-axis rejection has helped to place this microphone out in front of similar microphones from compeating brands.
