Sennheiser K6 ME66

The Sennheiser K6 powering module is the heart of this professional modular microphone system and can be powered either by its internal AA 1.5V battery or by 48V phantom power. The K6 can be combined with different microphone heads to provide a variety of polar patterns. Features include switchable bass roll-off filter, on/off switch with battery test, high output low noise electronics and a transformerless balanced output.

The Sennheiser ME66 is a short gun microphone head designed for use with the K6 and K6-P powering modules. It is especially suitable for reporting, film and broadcast location applications and for picking up quiet signals in noisy or acoustically live environments as it discriminates against sound not emanating from the main pick-up direction. Features include matt black, anodised, scratch-resistant finish, low inherent self noise, high sensitivity and a wide frequency response.

Rode BoomPole

The Rode BOOMPOLE is a lightweight, adjustable five section aluminium boompole used for remote positioning of microphones for recording and broadcasting applications. It has a textured hand grip and secure locking rings and is fitted with a standard ⅜" thread. It has a length range of 840mm to 3000mm.

Rode Microphones evolved from the Freedman Group of Companies, established in 1967 by Henry and Astrid Freedman, after emigrating to Australia from Sweden. Loudspeakers, amplifiers, custom electronics and microphones were all a part of the company's expertise, all of which took place within the confines of the small but unique Australian market. In 1990 Rode produced and marketed its first microphone and has not looked back.
