The Product

The Samson S-COM4 is a fully featured four-channel 1U rack mounting dynamics processor utilising the latest technology in gain management design. It incorporates all the standard dynamic controls you would expect from a unit of this quality, but in addition Samson have introduced a Smart Knee Detector which switches from soft to hard-knee compression based on the input signal level and an Automatic Envelope Generator constantly adjusts the compressors attack and delay times in the same way. Other features include 5 segment LED meters to indicate input/output and gain reduction, gate activity mimic LED's and a stereo link switch to pair channels one and two; and channels three and four. The stylish anodized blue front panel and general robust build quality makes this product ideal for live touring applications where multiple channels of compression are required in limited rack space.
