The Product
The SKB 1611-6B-L is one of the 3I family of injection moulded waterproof cases built to military standards from ultra high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, featuring a gasketed, water and dust tight, submersible design (to MIL-C-4150J) that is resistant to corrosion and impact damage. Other comprehensive features include a molded-in hinge, a trigger release latch system, a comfortable snap-down rubber over-molded cushion grip handle, automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (to MIL-STD-648C), resistance to ultra-violet light, solvents, corrosion, fungus and impact damage (to MIL-STD-810F).
The 3I-1611-6B-L is black in colour, measures 16" x 11" x 6" and comes with the base fitted with 2" sheets of ELE medium density open cell polyurethane foam for customizing the interior for equipment fit. The lid interior is also lined with textured protective foam.
