The Product
The SKB 1914-8BTE is one of the 3I family of injection moulded waterproof cases built to military standards from ultra high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, featuring a gasketed, water and dust tight, submersible design (to MIL-C-4150J) that is resistant to corrosion and impact damage. Other comprehensive features include a molded-in hinge, a trigger release latch system, a comfortable snap-down rubber over-molded cushion grip handle, automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (to MIL-STD-648C), resistance to ultra-violet light, solvents, corrosion, fungus and impact damage (to MIL-STD-810F).
The 3I-1914-8BTE is black in colour, measures 19" x 14¼" x 8", has heavy duty built-in wheels, TSA security latches and comes supplied as an empty shell with no lining material.
