The Product

The Roland SHC-R4 is a hard attache case designed for transportation and protection of the R4 recorder and accessories. The base area has six compartments shaped and sized specifically for the R4, AC adaptor, batteries, microphone and cables. It is fitted with a pair of locking latches and key, for safe keeping of equipment when not in use.

The Manufacturer

The Roland Corporation is a Japanese manufacturer of electronic musical instruments, electronic equipment and software and was founded by Kabushiki Kaisha in 1972 in Osaka. Roland has been pivotal in developing benchmark electronic musical instruments such as the Juno 60 and Jupiter 8 synthesizers used in the forefront of 1980's pop music by the likes of Howard Jones, Duran Duran and Culture Club. Many original Roland sounds and modules have re-surfaced as samples and plug-ins which emulate the retro feel of the original hardware. Today Roland has factories in the US, Italy, Japan and Taiwan and employs over 2200 staff. Roland has survived many changes in the industry and still remains at the cutting edge of electronic music technology to this day.
