The Product

The Radial PRO-DI is a single channel passive DI box equipped with a custom wound audio transformer, designed to handle signals without saturation and deliver very low phase distortion in the critical low and mid bands. The case is incredibly tough manufactured from 14 gauge steel, incorporating an I-beam chassis format with a bookend style outer casing, resulting in a product capable of withstanding the worst possible rock and roll abuse.

It has a main signal input presented on a ¼" jack with an associated through output also on a ¼" jack, and a 15dB pad for signal matching. The main line output is on a 3 pole male XLR and a ground lift switch has been provided to quickly deal with earth loop hum problems.

The Manufacturer

The company began operations in 1991 as the Canadian distributor of Mogami cable and Jensen Audio Transformers. In 1992, it became a limited corporation under the JP Cabletek Electronics Limited banner. The Radial name was first used on house branded cables and multicore systems, but today over fifty electronic products are now being produced under the Radial, Tonebone and Forest Audio brands. Radial products are extremely rugged and can withstand the rigors and abuse associated with touring and live music.
