The Product

The Phonic PCR2213 is an active crossover for use in public address systems and can be configured as a stereo 2 way or mono 3 way device. The design employs standard state variable 24dB per octave Linkwitz-Riley filters with zero phase error at crossover frequencies, and gives a perfect flat summed amplitude response at all crossover frequencies. Other features include independent limiters on all outputs with pre-defined time parameters, crossover frequencies continuously variable from 80Hz to 8kHz, time/phase alignment via polarity switches and 4ms time delay controls, and a switchable horn EQ curve to compensate the HF roll off.

The unit comes as a rugged 1U rack mounting chassis with balanced audio inputs and outputs presented on XLR connectors. Mains power is applied via a standard 3 pole IEC connector. This crossover from phonic represents outstanding value for money and is ideal for small to medium PA systems which use a multi cabinet configuration.
