The Numark CDN22 MK5 is a cost effective and straightforward dual compact disc player suitable for mobile DJs and club installations. It is a two piece design supplied as a 2U rackmount transport unit with a separate 2U rackmount dual controller. The controller and transport unit can be mounted together in the same rack or separately for complete flexibility, and the two interconnect with a single cable. It will support playback of both CD and CD-R discs and the main transport is housed in an all-metal chassis for rugged, reliable performance.

The CDN22 MK5 gives you rapid track access on its easy-to-use multifunction jog and shuttle wheels, which can also be used to locate part of a track or for pitch bend effects. Other features include beat match with ±12% pitch control, auto cue, fader start which automatically starts playback when the cross-fader is moved, large rubber buttons, programmable CD and CD-R playback mode, large backlit LCD displays and a digital output.
