The Product

When Neutrik introduced the Speakon range of connectors for amplifier and speaker connection, most manufacturers adopted the product as their connector of choice. They are manufactured from tough glass reinforced plastics and designed to support high currents and inductive loads. The innovative method of twisting to engage and disengage the contacts helps to prevent damage through shorting and arcing. This 4 pole cable connector has contacts rated at 40A RMS continuous at 240VAC and can accept cables of 6mm to 14mm overall diameter.
