The Marantz RB1651 is a 9.6V 1650mAh NiMH rechargeable battery maunfactured specifically for use with the Marantz PMD671 solid state recorder.

The Manufacturer

Marantz was officially founded in 1953 by Saul Bernard Marantz, a native of New York born in 1911. Unhappy with equipment available at the time, Saul spent many hours in his basement constructing amplifiers which ultimately found favour with like minded audio professionals. From these humble beginnings, Marantz has become a highly respected manufacturer and innovator of Hi Fi and broadcast related products throughout the world.
