The Product

The Marantz PRC661 is a professional carry case manufactured specifically for use with the PMD661 solid state recorder. It is made from tough black nylon textile and incorporates an adjustable shoulder strap and a soft nylon cable tent with drawstring is sewn on the bottom edge. A clear panel is provided in the top of the case, through which physical and visual access to the controls is made possible.

The Manufacturer

Marantz was officially founded in 1953 by Saul Bernard Marantz, a native of New York born in 1911. Unhappy with equipment available at the time, Saul spent many hours in his basement constructing amplifiers which ultimately found favour with like minded audio professionals. From these humble beginnings, Marantz has become a highly respected manufacturer and innovator of Hi Fi and broadcast related products throughout the world.
