The Product

The Kata KOALA-4 is a location production case designed for 3 channel mixers such as the Sound Devices 302. It has a central mixer compartment which opens up giving full access to equipment. Up to four pocket wireless receivers can be housed in addition to the main mixer, with additional stowage areas and pockets for batteries, memory cards and accessories. Cable connection ports have been provided for tangle free management of interconnects and it comes supplied with a BSS padded shoulder strap.

The Manufacturer

Kata was established in 1992 by Nitzan Kimchi and Dror Tishler, two ex military servicemen who, through their own experiences, acquired a thorough understanding of how durable equipment bags and cases needed to be. In a very short period of time, Kata evolved from a research and development laboratory, to a company that designed and manufactured thousands of products to professionals who demanded the best in equipment protection.
