The Product

The Genelec 8040-421 is a padded textile protective soft bag for carrying and storing a either pair of Genelec 8030A active reference monitors or a pair of Genelec 8240A active DSP reference monitors. It features both hand straps and a shoulder strap to help make transportation easy. An internal divider has been included to prevent the monitors from rubbing together during transit and a handy front pocket has been added for storage of cables and other accessories. The top flap is secured with a zip and the bag is finished in a mid green colour.

The Manufacturer

Genelec was founded out of a requirement of the Finnish Broadcasting Company to develop an active monitoring loudspeaker in 1976. In 1978, after two years of serious research and development, Genelec Oy was founded and the first speaker, the S30, was ready. Since then Genelec has gone from strength to strength becoming a household name in high end active studio monitoring. Genelec monitors are loved by professionals working in broadcasting, post production and the music industry. Beautiful to listen to, beautiful to look at and beautifully constructed.
