The Product

The Fostex PH100 is an extremely versatile headphone amplifier which offers the user XLR, jack and phono main inputs with the addition of a useful stereo/mono input select switch. The main balanced stereo inputs feature a switch offering +4dBu or -10dBV sensitivity. Each headphone can also be fed with its own individual input plus the user may feed a cue signal to each output via the aux input, useful for talkback applications. The level of each headphone output is controlled individually with a rotary level control mounted on the front panel, along with an associated peak reading LED. Multiple PH100s can also be cascaded to handle a large number of listeners making it ideal for orchestral, multimedia and education applications.

The Fostex Company was founded in July 1973 by the Foster Electric Company Limited (founded 1949) and is one of the world's largest developers of OEM speaker and transducer products, employing over twenty thousand people in nine countries. Fostex has invested millions in the development of audio multitrack technology and continues to enjoy a large market share in this area.
