The Product

The Denon DN-V100P is an entry level DVD player built to the usual high standards expected from this leading manufacturer. It is the first DVD player in the P Series which offers HDMI output for direct connection to HD ready Plasma and LCD displays. Other features include repeat playback, a progressive scan system, playback of audio CD, MP3, JPEG images and WMA files, component video output and DivX file playback capability. It comes supplied with a 2U rackmount kit for easy integration into professional AV and broadcast production installations, but is equally suited to home use as a standard DVD player.

The Manufacturer

The Denon brand roots can be traced back as far as 1910, when Frederick Whitney Horn set up a company manufacturing recording equipment, considered primitive by modern standards. Through several mergers throughout the 1920s and 1940s the Denon brand was born and today it enjoys a world wide reputation for quality and innovation at very affordable prices. Its portfolio covers the pro audio, entertainment and Hi Fi industries and is a brand which is relied upon by many modern broadcasters and performers.
