The Denon DN-S700 is the entry level table top compact disc and MP3 player from Denon, packing features into this cost effective model, otherwise only found on high end players.

Features include MP3 playback, support for CD text, auto or manual BPM with three on-board effects, three pitch ranges, two hot starts, creating loops on the fly, pitch bend and jog wheel, slot loading drive, and a fader start facility. Audio line outputs are unbalanced presented on phono sockets, with the addition of a SPDIF digital output, also presented on a (coaxial) phono socket.

The Manufacturer

The Denon brand roots can be traced back as far as 1910, when Frederick Whitney Horn set up a company manufacturing recording equipment, considered primitive by modern standards. Through several mergers throughout the 1920s and 1940s the Denon brand was born and today it enjoys a world wide reputation for quality and innovation at very affordable prices.
