The AKG C520L is a headworn condenser microphone with maximum dynamic range for perfect vocal sound, with a cardioid polar pattern which effectively rejects unwanted ambient noise. It is an ideal choice for frontmen, singing keyboard players, drummers, guitarists, and dancers. The microphone arm mounts either on the left or right side of the headband as desired, providing the perfect solution for any performer needing a handsfree microphone. A transducer shock mount reduces handling noise to a minimum and a moisture shield prevents perspiration from penetrating into the transducer element, ensuring a high degree of humidity protection for the microphone. It comes with an integral 1.5m cable which is terminated in a 3 pole miniature XLR connector, compatible with AKG wireless bodypack transmitters, the MPAVL phantom power adaptor or the B29L battery power supply.

AKG was founded in 1947 by Dr Rudolf Goerike and Ernst Pless and within months their beautifully hand built microphones were being used in radio stations, theatres and jazz clubs.
