The Product

The Beyerdynamic OPUS 99 has been designed specifically for miking bass drums and other bass instruments. It has a strong neodymium magnet assembly delivering a higher output and faster transient response and a mass reduced special diaphragm giving the microphone power reproduction abilities with excellent transient characteristics. Has an integral elastic suspension/stand adaptor and extremely rugged construction. The dynamic hypercardioid transducer rejects off-axis sound and is mechanically protected by a rugged aluminium/zinc diecast body.

The ST99 'T' stand shown in the image is an optional extra.
