The Product

The Beyerdynamic MCE72 CAM is a compact stereo microphone for X-Y recording with a wide and linear frequency response producing uncoloured, high-quality recordings. It is suitable for stereo recording in home studio applications, concert recordings with solid state portable recorders, film, video and interviewing applications. For musicians the MCE72 CAM is an excellent microphone for assessing performance in rehearsals, production and concerts. For stereo ambient sound recording, the microphone is suitable for direct connection to most camcorders and professional portable recorders. The MCE72 CAM has two microphone capsules that are mounted in an angle of ±60° to the microphone axis to achieve a wide recording range and an accurate reproduction of the sound source. It is powered by a 1.5v battery and comes supplied with a 0.35m camera link cable terminated in a 3.5mm Jack connector, and an EA86 elastic suspension with camera hot shoe mount.
