The Audio Technica BP4073 is a short shotgun condenser microphone designed for use in broadcasting, film, television production and theatre sound reinforcement applications. With an overall length of just 233mm and weight of just 99gm, this microphone adds virtually no weight to the end of a fish pole or the top of a minicam. Through the use of an innovative Audio Technica design, the interference tube of the BP4073 provides a narrow acceptance angle, effective for long-distance pickup. Other features include a switchable 80Hz hi-pass filter and 10dB pad, a rugged housing made of lightweight structural-grade aluminium alloy and a direct-coupled, balanced output ensuring a clean signal even in high-output conditions.

Requires phantom power to function.
