The Product
The Audio Technica AT899C is black in colour and is designed to be worn as a lavalier or hidden in clothing and the discreet low-profile designed omnidirectional capsule offers maximum intelligibility, accurate voice reproduction and unobtrusive appearance. Suitable uses include houses of worship, broadcast studios, theatres, television and conference work. It also has a switchable low-frequency roll-off filter which reduces sensitivity to popping. An extensive array of accessories are provided with the kit, includes a clothing clip, viper clip, magnet clip and lanyard, windscreens, element covers and interchangeable single and double mic holders. The microphone operates on battery or phantom power and the integral 1.4m cable comes unterminated, leaving the user to make their own termination choice.
