The Alesis MIDIVERB4 is a 1U rack mounting digital effects processor suitable for a wide range of applications from vocal and instrument enhancement in live situations, to music and project studio use. It offers excellent and innovative effects algorithms which produce dense, natural reverb, rich chorus, flange, delay, pitch effects and up to three simultaneous multi-effects. The MIDIVERB4 employs 18 bit A/D and D/A converters and 24 bit internal processing for a 20Hz to 20kHz bandwidth and 90dB dynamic range, making it quite acceptable for digital recording. Features include 128 factory presets and 128 user definable presets, an auto level sensing feature which can instantly set the optimum input level, and thirty-two effects algorithms giving a complete arsenal of fully programmable effects, many using true stereo parallel processing. Audio inputs are presented on the rear panel on ¼" jack connectors, along with a MIDI interface and assignable footswitch connection.
