The Alesis M1 MKII is a two way passive studio monitoring system which has been built on the success of the original MKI MONITOR ONE design. It has a magnetically shielded vented enclosure incorporating a 1" silk dome high frequency driver and a 6.5" polypropylene cone bass driver. It delivers a crisp flawless sound, over a super-flat wide frequency range, with clear imaging, high-power handling and excellent bass transient response. The cabinet has been designed with improved porting resulting in a low frequency response which extends well below comparable near field monitors. The cabinet edges have also been shaped to reduce edge diffraction. Overall this monitoring system represents excellent value for money for the home or project studio owner.
