The Product
The Advance AT7 is an excellent quality PVC electrical insulation tape which lends itself to a wide range of applications, but also conforms to BS EN 60454 making it suitable for masking, colour coding and insulating tasks in a wide range of industries. It is flame retardent and self extinguishing and also UV resistant, making it safe to use on electrical cables.
The AT7MP is a pack of 11 rolls of different colours, one each of black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, grey, white and green/yellow. Each roll has a width of 19mm and a total length of 33m.
The Manufacturer
Advance Tapes International Limited was founded in 1964 and has been a specialist adhesive tape manufacturer right from the very beginning. Throughout the first twenty years they pioneered the use of specially manufactured types of fabric for cloth tapes and in 1986 Advance Tapes became the first tape company to gain BS5750 accreditation. Further company development saw the building of a customised production facility for electrical insulation and protection tapes. Today, Advance Tapes manufactures cloth, PVC, foil, double-sided, polyethylene and paper tapes in the United Kingdom at two sites in Leicester. The company is continuously extending its high quality range of adhesive tapes by focusing on innovation and research and development of specialist tapes.
