The Product

The SE300B is part of the AKG Blue Line modular microphone system designed specifically for audio quality and maximum flexibility. It operates from any 9v to 52v phantom supply and incorporates a switchable 12dB/octave bass cut filter at 75Hz to eliminate rumble. It also has a switchable 10dB preattenuation pad when the mic assembly is used in high sound pressure level situations. The transformerless output stage ensures pristine full-range audio delivery and prevents low frequency distortion.

The Manufacturer

AKG was founded in 1947 by Dr Rudolf Goerike and Ernst Pless and within months their beautifully hand built microphones were being used in radio stations, theatres and jazz clubs.
