The AKG C555L is a rugged headworn microphone which is extremely easy to use and offers outstanding performance for the price. It is the ideal microphone for any handsfree application including gymnastics instruction, presentations, or onstage performance. The C555L rests securely and comfortably on the head, and can be attached to the left or right side of the headband as desired. A transducer shock mount reduces handling noise to a minimum and the moisture shield prevents perspiration from penetrating into the transducer element, ensuring a high degree of humidity protection for the microphone. It comes with an integral 1.5m cable which is terminated in a 3 pole mini XLR connector, compatible with AKG wireless bodypack transmitters, the MPAVL phantom power adaptor or the B29L battery power supply.

The Manufacturer

AKG was founded in 1947 by Dr Rudolf Goerike and Ernst Pless and within months their beautifully hand built microphones were being used in radio stations, theatres and jazz clubs.
