The AKG C519M is a miniature cardioid instrument microphone which clips onto the bell of a trumpet, saxophone, trombone, tuba, or any other wind instrument, permitting freedom of movement on stage. Its tight cardioid polar pattern makes the C519M an ideal tool for use near monitor wedges, and its flat frequency response delivers a natural, powerful, and clear sound. It has an integral miniature gooseneck for accurate microphone alignment and a universal clamp for easy positioning. It has a detachable 1.5m cable which is terminated in a 3 pole male XLR connector with integral phantom power adaptor.

The Manufacturer

AKG was founded in 1947 by Dr Rudolf Goerike and Ernst Pless and within months their beautifully hand built microphones were being used in radio stations, theatres and jazz clubs. Within two years AKG produced their first pair of headphones, which were quickly followed by other innovative products such as the worlds first high quality condenser microphone.
