The Product

The AKG B29L is a small portable power supply and mixer that accommodates two microphones in the MicroMic III series. Each input has a gain control for balancing output levels and the device is supplied with a clip that fastens it to a belt or guitar strap. It uses a single 9 volt battery giving an average life of approximately 50 hours. The output of the B29L can be switched either to mic or line output level and both inputs are mini XLR male. The output is on a standard XLR male.

The Manufacturer

AKG was founded in 1947 by Dr Rudolf Goerike and Ernst Pless and within months their beautifully hand built microphones were being used in radio stations, theatres and jazz clubs. Within two years AKG produced their first pair of headphones, which were quickly followed by other innovative products such as the worlds first high quality condenser microphone. One of the first customers to acquire the famous C12 microphone was the BBC in London. Today millions of discerning professionals rely upon this solid and dependable brand.
